Systemic Work
Discover what happens beneath the surface with systemic work
Systemic Work, developed by Bert Hellinger, shows that there’s often more going on than meets the eye. Think of an iceberg: the part above water is what everyone can see—behaviors, reactions, situations—but most of it lies beneath the surface. That’s where feelings, beliefs, and unconscious influences live. Systemic constellations make this visible and tangible, allowing you to experience what’s happening and where movement is possible. Without having to analyze or fix anything, you gradually gain clarity, calm, and space in your life.
Systemic constellations: the Heart of Systemic Work
Systemic constellations are one of the most powerful ways to experience Systemic Work. In a constellation, a situation that matters to you is made visible through people or symbols. This creates an inner picture of how everything relates to each other. By paying attention to it, you naturally notice what wants to be seen or acknowledged, where movement can happen, and where energy is stuck. It’s not theory—it’s an experience that helps you feel, understand, and create new space.
Many people know systemic constellations mainly as “family constellations.” That’s true, but a systemic constellation can be applied to many systems: your relationships, work, health, or even your feelings and emotions. Business-related questions also work well in constellations. By seeing it more broadly, you discover that systemic work can help in almost any area of life where you feel stuck or want change.
How Systemic Work works
Systemic Work happens in an inner energy field that forms around the situation you focus on. Everything that is alive—yourself, others, the system—affects this field. By tuning in to this inner picture, you intuitively notice where attention is needed and where movement can occur.
The systemic laws play an important role here. Think of them as the natural laws of relationships and connections:
- Connection: everyone in a system belongs and deserves recognition.
- Order: there is a natural sequence in relationships that deserves respect.
- Giving & Receiving: a balance between giving and taking keeps systems healthy.
By tuning into this field, you sense how these laws interact and naturally experience what wants to be seen, acknowledged, or healed.
Why it’s not always easy to do alone
Tuning into this inner field on your own is not always simple. It takes practice to feel what truly needs attention and to recognize what lies beneath the surface. That’s why guidance from an experienced systemic facilitator is valuable. They help you experience the inner picture and allow new movements to arise, either physically or online, individually or in a group.
What you gain
Through Systemic Work, you experience:
- Clarity about what’s really happening
- Calm and relief
- Recognition and validation of what you feel
- Space for new insights and choices
It’s not about theory—it’s about results you can feel and experience. Step by step, it helps you live more freely and consciously.
